Birthday Portraits, Cake Smashing, and  Bubble Bath Fun was how little Landon spent his morning at our  Sutherland, VA studio, coming from the Richmond VA area.

We started in a sweet little outfit his mom brought in.  In between changes we took a few images in just his birthday suit.  Its a great time to see baby in all there chunkiness so you can remember them just how little and perfect they were.  I put him in a simple little white hoodie, one of the studio’s wardrobe options. He was precious in it.

Next we let him have at it with the CAKE. Problem was, Landon didn’t want it. LOL.  Every time he touched that cake, it just got all over him and he didn’t like that.  If only all babies were so clean. ;)

What’s more fun that eating a big cake?  For this little guy, playing in a bubble bath.  Landon came to my Central Virginia Studio, south of Richmond to celebrate turning the big O-N-E!!!!! He hammed it up for his portraits in the beginning but wanted no parts of that cake. Some babies just don’t like to get messy and I think that was exactly what happened. We got some amazing happy shots and he enjoyed playing in the tub.
