This sweet baby boy, came to my Colonial Heights studio last week at 12 days new. Isn’t he a cutie? New babies add such a special excitement to a family but when you have your first baby boy, after having girls, there is an added element of joy.  It was so special to see his daddy stare at his tiny little features, in awe of the baby boy that their love created. Baby Justin was an absolute dream to work with.  I loved capturing all of his teeny tiny features and expressions and its ever more special when I get to capture a smile. Baby Justin was my first baby in the studio after travelling for 9 days to two amazing newborn artists, first Kelly Brown, of Little Pieces Photography by Kelly Brown, and then Amy McDaniel of Dewdrops Photography by Amy McDaniel.

I learned so much with my time in Alabama training with Amy of Dewdrops Photography by Amy McDaniel. I have a new appreciation for shadows and dramatic light used for newborn photography.
